"us") is a location-based property platform operated by Conteq
Geospatial Systems Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use,
share, and protect your personal information when you use our website and
mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or
using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account
information: Your name, email address, phone number, and password (or
Google OAuth token) when you register.
- Agent
KYC data: National Identification Number (NIN), government-issued
identity documents, and a selfie for identity verification (IDV) when you
register as a landlord or agent.
- Rental
profile: Employment status, job title, income range, tenancy
preferences, and any other information you voluntarily add to your tenant
rental profile.
- Property
listings: Property address, photos, videos, description, pricing, and
related details submitted by agents.
- Messages: Text,
images, and documents exchanged through our in-app messaging system.
- Payment
information: Subscription payment details processed through Paystack or Squad.
We do not store card numbers; all payment processing is handled by
Paystack in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
Information collected automatically
- Location
data: With your permission, your device's geographic location is used
to show nearby properties and calculate distances to your saved favourite
places.
- Usage
data: Pages visited, features used, search queries, clicks, and
session duration.
- Device
information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device
identifiers.
- Cookies
and local storage: We use cookies and local storage to keep you
signed in, remember your preferences, and improve platform performance.
How We Use Your Information

create and manage your account

display properties on the map and match them to your search criteria

facilitate communication between tenants and agents

process subscription payments and manage billing

verify agent identities (IDV) and display trust badges

moderate listings and ensure platform safety

send transactional emails (OTP codes, subscription confirmations, listing

improve and personalise your experience on the Platform

Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share
your information in the following circumstances:
- With
other users: Your public profile, listing details, and messages are
shared with other users as necessary to facilitate property transactions.
- With
Paystack or Squad: Payment information is shared with any of our payment
processors to process subscriptions. Payment processor's privacy policy governs
their use of your data.
- With
Prembly: When you complete Identity Verification (IDV), your NIN is
transmitted to Prembly for real-time verification. Only the NIN you submit
is shared; no other personal data is sent. Prembly's privacy policy
governs their use of that data.
- With
Mapbox: Location queries are processed by Mapbox to display property
locations on the map. Mapbox's privacy policy governs their use of data.
- With
service providers: We engage trusted third parties (email delivery,
cloud hosting, analytics) who process data on our behalf and are bound by
confidentiality obligations.
- For
legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by
Nigerian law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users
and the public.
Data Retention
- Chat
media (Free plan): Images and documents sent in messages are retained
for 48 hours.
- Chat
media (Pro plan): Images and documents sent in messages are retained
for 30 days.
- Account
data: Retained for as long as your account is active. You may request
deletion at any time.
- Legal
and financial records: Retained for up to 7 years as required by
Nigerian financial regulations.
Your Rights
You have the right to:

the personal information we hold about you
- Correct
inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request
deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw
consent for optional data processing (e.g., location access)
- Lodge
a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC)

Security
We implement industry-standard security measures
including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, and access controls.
However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and
we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data handling for IDV
Your NIN is transmitted securely to Prembly over HTTPS
and we do not retain a copy of your NIN at any time. Prembly's handling of your
NIN during the verification process is governed by their privacy policy. We
share only the minimum data necessary to complete the verification check.
Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for children under the age
of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We
will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a prominent notice
on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted
constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
