Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Realchard platform
("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service
("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the
Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and
Realchard, operated by Conteq Geospatial Systems Limited.
Important Notice: Realchard is a Property Advertising
Platform
Realchard is an advertising platform that enables property
agents and landlords ("Advertisers") to promote available properties
to prospective tenants and buyers. Realchard is not a party to any
sale, rental, or tenancy agreement concluded between users of the Platform.
Each Advertiser is an independent business operating in its
own right. Any rights or obligations arising from the conclusion of a contract
— including but not limited to tenancy agreements, sale agreements, and payment
of deposits — must be asserted exclusively against the Advertiser (the other
contracting party), and not against Realchard or Conteq Geospatial Systems
Limited.
Realchard does not act as an agent, broker, or intermediary
in any property transaction and assumes no liability for the performance of any
contract entered into between users.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By
registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that
all information you provide is accurate and complete.
Account Registration
You may register using your email address and a one-time
password (OTP), or by signing in with your Google account. You are responsible
for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all
activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at realchard.com/contact if you
suspect unauthorised access.
User Roles
Tenants and Buyers
Any registered user may act as a tenant, searching for
properties, booking inspections, and messaging agents. No additional
verification is required to browse or enquire about listings.
Agents and Landlords
To list a property, you must complete the agent onboarding
process, which includes providing your full name, phone number, and address. To
access the verified agent badge and Pro features including identity
verification (IDV), you must submit a government-issued ID document and a
selfie for verification. Providing false identity information is a material
breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination and
referral to appropriate authorities.
Identity Verification (IDV)
Identity Verification (IDV) is an optional process available
exclusively to agents and landlords ("Agents") on an active Pro
subscription. Completing IDV earns your profile a Verified Badge, a
visible trust signal shown to tenants on your public profile, listings, and
in-app conversations.
How IDV works
To complete IDV, you must submit your 11-digit National
Identification Number (NIN). We verify your NIN in real time through Prembly,
a licensed identity verification provider in Nigeria. By submitting your NIN,

Post Verification
IDV is a one-time process. Once your NIN is successfully
verified, your full legal name as it appears on your NIN record is permanently
locked on your Realchard account and cannot be changed. This prevents
impersonation and maintains the integrity of the verification. Your NIN is
stored in encrypted form and is never displayed in full on the Platform or
shared with other users.
The Verified Badge and your subscription
Your Verified Badge is displayed only while you maintain an
active Premium subscription. If your subscription expires or is cancelled, the
badge is hidden from your public profile, listings, and conversations. Renewing
your Pro subscription restores the badge automatically, no re-verification is
required. The badge is non-transferable between accounts.
Incorrect or fraudulent submissions
Submitting a NIN that does not belong to you, or providing
false identity information for the purpose of obtaining a Verified Badge, is a
material breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to permanently terminate
your account and to report fraudulent activity to the Nigeria Data Protection
Commission (NDPC), the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), and
other relevant authorities.
Disputes about IDV
If your NIN verification fails and you believe this is in
error, contact us at hello@realchard.com or within the in-app support form with
your full name and the error message shown. We will investigate and respond
within 5 working days. Note that we rely on Prembly's verification outcome and
cannot directly override their records.
Property Listings
Agents who list properties agree to:
Realchard reserves the right to review, suspend, or remove
any listing that violates these requirements or our Community Guidelines.
Inspections
The Platform allows tenants to request property inspections
and agents to manage their availability. Confirming an inspection creates a
commitment between both parties. Repeated no-shows or cancellations may result
in restrictions on your account.
Messaging and Conduct
All users must communicate respectfully. You must not use
the messaging system to:
Messages and media may be reviewed by our moderation team in
cases of reported abuse.
Subscriptions and Payments
Realchard offers Free and Pro subscription tiers for both
tenants and agents. All payments are processed securely by Paystack or Squad in
Nigerian Naira (₦).
Prohibited Activities
You must not:
Intellectual Property
All content, design, software, and trademarks on the
Platform are the property of Realchard or its licensors and are protected by
Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy,
reproduce, or distribute any part of the Platform without prior written
consent.
By submitting content (photos, descriptions, messages), you
grant Realchard a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and
distribute that content as necessary to operate the Platform.
Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and
"as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian
law:
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or
consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform.
Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate
your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose
a risk to other users or the Platform. We will notify you where reasonably
practicable. You may appeal a suspension by contacting us at realchard.com/contact.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with
the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these
Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
Dispute Resolution
We encourage users to resolve disputes amicably. If a
dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may refer the matter to
mediation under the rules of the Abuja Multi-Door Courthouse or such other
recognised mediation body as agreed by both parties.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give
you at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or prominent in-app
notice. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of changes
constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
